Lisa Terry founded The Terry Group LLC in 2008. This was at a time when most companies were laying off Mid and Senior level executives, particularly in Luxury Fashion apparel. Determined to build a company in line with a vision for the future, Lisa spent several years networking and talking to candidates who were trying to navigate through the challenges of a changing work environment.
Personal Branding, Career Strategy and Executive Coaching became a large part of daily operations. Drawing from a 25+ year corporate retail career in Management, Operations & Human Resources, Lisa helped executives develop a strategy to reinvent themselves and their careers. Opening minds and opening doors, the majority of these executives found roles, some different than before, startups, new businesses, and alternate categories. Making sure the priority for the candidates was to be relevant, Lisa helped brand & land them in new and exciting roles. It was a passion that would become a successful business.
As that very important group of executives stabilized, and business started to turn around, those important contacts helped grow the Terry Group LLC Search business. The niche became about entrepreneurial roles at startup companies or to build teams for new divisions or acquisitions within Fortune 500 companies. Lisa put this quest before anyone else. It was her “bae,” and so after 14 years of dedication, passion and integrity, The Terry Group LLC has now become one with the Brand.
